uhh hello! i just downloaded the game and i dunno if this is just my computer not liking the game or if it's a different cause, but i crash often... like really often. it's kinda barely playable at this point, heck i haven't even been able to finish making a character yet. currently i am using Direct3D9 to fix the cursor bug so i can't really switch off it. i don't know a lot about my specs or if they're really even needed here, but i'm running windows 10. i can run other IT games with it fine for the most part though, this one is just a toughie for me.

i don't get any messages, i only just get the "Magix (Not Responding)" on the window tab and it just kinda sits there frozen forever :/

Okay so..
I did some research, and came to the conclusion that the game is not currently playable in OpenLG. (I tried running it as well.. components are missing, and I can't access the files I need to make a proper diagnosis. I feel there are some missing coding/files.)
I'll keep researching in hopes to fix that issue.
So my next question is, does the game crash at random, or does it specifically crash at times throughout the game (at character selection, after a prey is killed, during rainfall, etc)?
I understand it shows the Magix.exe has stopped working error, but a lot of issues could be causing this.
I would recommend fully uninstalling and re-installing the game. Also, install it on your desktop to bypass the admin rights. You can move it to ProgramFiles after.
Screenshots provided where/when it crashes will help too.

okay so, i have fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game to my desktop and moved it to my built-in alternate drive (i dont have much space on c drive). i also ran the game on opengl, but i cannot get very far as i can't do much of anything on the screen since my cursor (and other graphics) are still bugged. i have 8 screenshots total, if that is enough. here is a link to the screenshots, if that is acceptable: imgur.com/a/ZEGD9Yli tried to actually post the pictures here but they didn't really work. |

The screenshot crash is caused by a missing screenshots folder. Simply go to the game folder and create a new folder called "screenshots". Are you using 32-bit Windows or 64-bit?

Hmm... Do you have DirectX 9 installed or just the newest DirectX?

i believe i have the newest version but when i went to run the installer for directx 9, i get this following error:
"You must be running Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003 to install the DirectX 9.0."
i am running windows 10...

This game uses an older version of Ogre and it only supports OpenGL and DirectX 9 render systems. However, I have a theory I plan on testing out and I'll let you know what I find out.  |

np  This isn't the first time someone had a compatibility issue. Meanwhile, you could try to redownload and reinstall the game. Not sure if that would help but it's worth a try.  |
